Canadian Minister of National Defence Anita Anand discussed
SME Development with CASG founding team 

    On the morning of April 20, Canadian Minister of National Defence, Anita Anand, accompanied by Member of Parliament Paul Chiang, visited Canada After School Group for a visit and discussion with the CASG founding team on the support and assistance for Canadian SMEs under the Federal Government's Budget 2022.

         On behalf of the founders of CASG, Grace Zhao extended a warm welcome to Minister Anita Anand and MP Paul Chiang, as well as introduced the features and mission of CASG to Minister Anita Anand and MP Paul Chiang.
 

    CASG provides online tutoring for K-G12 quality courses and offline campus offers 55 special courses focusing on comprehensive quality improvement, such as Writing, French, Meths, TED, Drama club, etc. CASG advocates an inclusive, innovative, and humanistic educational environment. It also focuses on interdisciplinary and multicultural integration, constantly explores and innovates through teaching practices, fully explores potential and nurtures students to become future elites.

Anita Anand. Canada's Minister of National Defence, visited Toronto this time to research representative companies in the industry, aiming to understand the development and recovery of each company under the epidemic and to discuss relevant policies to promote the implementation of the federal government's Budget 2022.

    Emily Liang, one founding team member of CASG, a representative company in the education industry, discussed with Minister Anita Anand on various SME development issues. The topics included :


• Is there any government funding for small business development?
• Are there programs to promote women's leadership and entrepreneurship?
• Does the government have programs to help students affected by the epidemic return to class?

    Minister Anita Anand firstly acknowledged the positive role of CASG in promoting education equity and
answered the questions in turn. She pointed out that Budget 2022 has introduced many strategic investments and measures, such as reducing taxes and fees for Canadian SMEs, expanding and improving the trade remedy system and supporting business recovery and growth. As an indispensable part of all industries, SMEs can get better opportunities to grow with the support of policies, create abundant middle-class jobs and lead global production and innovation in the next decade.

The relevant measures introduced by the government this time also benefit CASG to a great extent. It is believed that with the support of relevant policies, CASG will be able to gain further development in the future, continue to innovate, remain competitive, and contribute to the promotion of equality and equity in education.
