Are you searching for an unmatched educational experience at a top learning centre this summer? Do you want your child to not only enjoy their vacation but also embrace new challenges and showcase their talents? At CASG, our North York and Markham summer camps offer an exceptional opportunity:
Engage in Professional Public Speaking and Exciting Writing Competitions!
Our CASG Thematic Study Summer Camp is meticulously designed to fulfill all these needs through a carefully curated program that blends educational study with competitive speaking and writing.
Weekly Schedule and Activities:
Monday to Wednesday: Campers will engage in enriching learning experiences at Canada After School. Each morning begins with 30 minutes of dedicated reading time, followed by a themed public speaking class where they can exercise their expression skills and build confidence in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
Snack Time and Outdoor Activities: After a snack, we head to nearby parks for outdoor sports, helping students embrace nature and learn physical fitness.
Creative Writing Competitions: Afternoons are reserved for guided creative writing competitions with different themes each week, including poetry and short stories, significantly improving writing skills over the summer.
Creative Writing Coaching Sessions: In addition to our colorful field trips, each afternoon we organize a series of creative writing competitions. Children will delve into various forms of writing practice, including Dribble Flash Fiction, Three-line Poetry, and Cinquain Poetry. These well-crafted writing tasks are designed to spark children's imaginations, enhance their language skills, and encourage them to critically evaluate their own work and that of others.
All submissions will be uploaded to FanStory, a professional online writing community, where top entries may win a $100 reward! Each piece will also receive professional feedback from FanStory community members, offering valuable insights that help children progress in their writing skills.
